Well short story.. Our gym only has dumbells to 100lbs. I can rep those for 15-20 so I put a 20 on top of the 100s… To make 120lb dumbells. Got 8 reps. Then decided to put 35s. The 20s were small enough to be stable without help. 35s were not.
